Counselling Unit
Our Mission
Counselling Unit was established in 1996 as one of the service units of Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong. We are dedicated to providing professional psychological and counselling services for promoting whole person development. Through the love of Christ, we base our work on a person-centred approach, which seeks to accompany individuals and families through difficult times in life in achieving personal and relational growth.

Adverse Weather Arrangements
1. When the Hong KongObservatory hoists a BLACK RAINSTORM SIGNAL, typhoon signal No. 8 or above, or the government announces that extreme conditions are in effect, the tutoring service will be suspended and cancelled immediately, and the classes on that day will also be suspended and cancelled immediately without further notice from the centre.
2. When the Hong Kong Observatory removes the black rainstorm signal, typhoon signal No. 8 or above (or the Government announces the cancellation of extreme conditions), counselling services and classes will resume two hours later. If the relevant signal is removed less than three hours before the centre closes, the counselling services and classes on that day will be cancelled and the centre services will be suspended without further notice.
